When 812rwhp just ain't enough ]:-)

I need to confer with someone familiar with the changes made with the 5.8 motor and drivetrain on the Shelby 1000 over the 2013 super snake.

From what I've seen under the hood of the 1000, it appears the Kenne Bell 3.6 liquid cooled blower is used (if so, the same as our Snake), and of course an obvious cam change for just a couple.

????? Thanks. Pappy.

Good luck, they haven't officially released any of the info you're requesting to the general public yet.

I would assume the super charger added to the 1000 is slightly larger than the 3.6 Kenne Bell the SS uses, but I'm just guessing.

The only thing I know about the 5.8 changes is that they literally strip the engine down to the block and rebuild it from scratch. I can imagine not much else remains of the 5.8 SS engine that you'll see in the 5.8 GT1000 engine.
