There was a poll about facebook about how many pictures on there were of people that are drunk or just having a real good time. It was around 80%.

That's because of all the idiots out there, I would say teens but I have a plethora of adults on my friends list that do the same thing.

Like I said, you're the product being sold.

It's no different with AFM or any other free-to-use website.

Facebook/AFM/etc. is free to you and me because they've sold you and me to their advertisers.

You're not being sold you are an audience for them to advertise to.

I don't think I have ever clicked a link on this site.

Not that I haven't bought anything from a sponsor here but I have never clicked a link.

You just proved my previous statement right with your argument against it. :hihi:

It's no different than rounding up wild horses to sell at auction. You do something to get people in one place, then ask the men with the money how much they're willing to pay.

What I am trying to say is you aren't guaranteed, you aren't paying for anything that you don't want.

The thought of the possibility that I may buy something is sold, not me, not my computer, not my interests, people take it completely wrong when someone tells them they're being sold.

I use Facebook to stay in touch with my friends and family, it isn't open to anyone, and I don't care to add someone I don't know just to have more "friends" LOL

Honestly it's a great tool, if you don't fall into "the more "friends" I have the more popular I'll be...", my nieces have like over a 1000 "friends"; it's ridiculous.
