Few pics from my Route 66 road trip

In June I took my family and my 06 Mustang on a road trip down Route 66. Total trip was about 4800 miles. Finally getting time to upload some pictures of the car on the trip. Enjoy.

These pics were taken in Hydro,OK at an old gas station called Lucille's. Pretty neat little place.

This was taken at the U-Drop Inn in Shamrock, Texas.

This is a great pic for 2 reasons. It was off an old Indian Service Route in New Mexico right by Shiprock. Looking out from the windshield you would see the Shiprock. I really should not have been back there with a lowered car under any circumstance but I really wanted the pic. Also, I was watching "The Lone Ranger" the other night with my son and exactly where the car is sitting is where The Lone Ranger and Tonto road their horses down next to the wall leading into the credits.

Took these 2 in Sedona, AZ

These pictures were taken on the Apache Trail in the Superstition Mountains. I decided take the 20 mile unpaved portion and it was epic.

Love the pictures and the stories about them! The bugs all over the front in the one picture look like a normal day here in Florida.

Most definitely does. lol. I drove to the Florida Keys last year in my 02 GT. The bugs in Georgia and Florida were terrible! lol!

Thanks for sharing!

One question - how old were folks stuck in the back seat for nearly five thousand miles? lol
