trim problem on 15 mustang

on my 15 mustang I've noticed trim issues on the driver door. Not sure if it's factory defects or previous owner defect lol. It looks this piece on the corner of the inside part of the door is broke off, it looks like it should snap into place but it just sits loose a bit on top of the trim, doesn't fully seat. Also noticed the top corner of the outside trim next to the mirror a bit loose

No I am having trouble figuring out how the corner piece trim fits back onto the top part of the door trim, the ford parts department didn't have information on how the piece attached. I decided to let Ford service department take a look at it, I take it to them on Monday. If this is a previous owner snafu I doubt Ford will warranty the damage. The piece doesn't fit tight, I doubt its an adhesive deal, I'm almost thinking a lip on the trim broke, not sure though, I think it might be clip on deal but don't want to mess with it unless I have correct repair information, so I'm hoping either Ford covers the fix,or they can fix it at a reasonable cost. The right side fits snug and tight, like its supposed to, but the driver's side looks possibly damaged somewhere. And thanks for the welcome
