long paint scratches (more than 3 inches long, 1/4 inch wide) touch up suggestions?

I have a few paint chips, plus a few deep paint scratches that I feel need paint repair. I'm confident in the research that I did, that if I wanted to repair the paint chips I could, but with the long scratches, could I still use a touch-up pen?or should I get more hands on with it? I'm just looking for suggestions, not sure if I'll do any touch-ups myself, but just want to know what other mustang owners think. The long scratch is only about 4 inches long, and only 1/4 inch wide at most, and there's only 1 I believe .

Well, in general yes, they are repairable. Without seeing the car, while you can do the pen, matchstick, etc. and then wet sand, IMHO, I would highly, highly recommend airbrushing.....after cleaning the area, mask directly next to the scratch, then air brush the paint on until the buildup is correct, then wetsand, polish and you're done
