Question Sync Microphone Failure

Has anyone experienced a problem with their microphone/speaker on a 2015? Sync still works for phone but the other person can't hear me. It appears the headliner must be dropped to repair, so how hard is it to replace the microphone?

Thanks!

I've never had any problems with the Microphone. In the premium models with the 8 inch display I think it is located in the dash near the display. I usually get my parts from Gaudin Ford, a.k.a silverstatefordparts.com, in Las Vegas, NV.

2010 Kona Blue GT Premium traded in June 2016 for a 2016 Oxford White GT Premium with Ceramic interior. Automatic transmission, Sync3, p265/35r20 tires, Shaker audio system. 2015 Sync Microphone Failure

While at the dealership getting my a/c charged, they tested and said it showed codes for a bad microphone. I ordered the $35 part and will attempt to replace it. Thanks!
