I didn't. But I have ordered various vehicles from my dealer so they know I'm not going to back out. I've heard others have had to make deposits but I did not.

Is anyone else disappointed in how the center display of the "base" mustang looks. I know most of the photos of the interior show a beautiful big screen display but that is for the premiums. The base models have what I think an outdated ugly center radio setup with a tiny screen surrounded by a block of number 0-9..

Interior in general is stunning but they certainly could have made the base interior radio display a little more modern looking. I wouldn't of cared if it looked much like it does on today's models. FWIW it's my opinion but others feel free to chime in.

Posting this because this is persuading me to pursue the hefty cost of the premium now :/

2012 PP V6 6MT. Lava red interior, tails and corner lights blacked out.

Eh, it's whatever. I've never had a nav or big screen in any of my mustangs and it's never bothered me. I car about performance over looks anyway, but thats just me.

go to a different dealer. only the Boss and gt500 were omitted by ford in 13/14. Maybe the 50th anniversary but regular should be good to go unless your dealer doesn't accept.

I will ask about it as well, nothing is final of course until we do the paperwork once it comes in but I assumed the X-plan wasn't available on a new model as well.
