This might border on blasphemy but here goes...
I love my Mustang as much as the next guy, but I AM NOT a Mustang or Ford loyalist. The '15 is very interesting to me and like everyone else I am intrigued. But as someone who owned a 71 Cuda ~15 years ago, my heart strings are pulled (very hard) by the upcoming Challenger. If someone offered me a chance to choose a classic mustang or Mopar, I honestly do not know which way I would turn.
I grew up in a Pontiac household and those roots are deep. Had that division not been killed off I might have a Firebird in my sights, assuming GM did not go all freaky on its styling like the Camaro. Seeing the new, modern HP war that is brewing it is sad that Pontiac, Plymouth and yes even Mercury and Olds were killed off because I'm sure they would have been players too.
That said, both the Mustang and Challenger ore on my radar, but realistically, the 2016 MY. And unless paying for a car is play money for someone, who would even consider buying a car from a photo alone? I look forward to this fall, and a couple of rounds of test drives are in my plans.
