Short vid, but also includes some newer photos as well.

Rumor is that the new GT350/hi-po variant will be shown at the New York auto show.

Agreed

I could see a scenario where a 2018 could end up in my driveway

The way things are going, depending on the 2015's bump, the 2018's could be right around 500hp

It will be interesting to see if the new GT350 has a supercharged Coyote engine. In an interview with Dave Pericak - Mustang Chief Engineer - and Jay Leno, about the 2015 Mustang, it kind of "sounded like" Dave was expecting a "2015 V8 HP bump" about like the change from 2012 to 2013....about 8 - 10 HP (Although he did not use any numbers). That would be very easy for FORD with just a mild change in the engine tune - like the one from FRPP. That would get the 2015 to something like 428HP to 430HP. Time will tell.....

But why would you care what engine is in it? You're already predisposed to hate the front end lol!

Because I am in high hopes the the SVT guys will do what they have done before...change the grill/front-end. Notice the front is camouflaged even though the 2015 "Fusion Mustang" has already been unveiled. I don't think the SVT guys will come out with a "GT350 Fusion"

it still cracks me up you guys call it a fusion mustang, when the front grill and bumper is very similar to the 13/14 mustang.

" Sticks and stones may break my bones"....
Speaking for myself, if I looked at the new 2015 mustang and instead saw a fusion looking front end, I'd run to my optometrist!
Different, yes...fusion look alike, not really, at a glance I can immediately see a Mustang!

2011 GTCS Candy Red;Premium leather interior package, Remote start, security package, upgraded speakers, 6MT 3:55. 35% tint all around, Borla "S" axle backs, & clear corners.
The rest is all FORD

That car must be some kind of loud to hear it that good as it pulls away with all the other cars going by.

Interesting, because you can clearly see the shape of the
"fusion grill" as you call it in the thumbnail for the video.

I am assuming this is a CS Vegas plant GT350 variant and not a factory produced version. So it will be an $80K+ car and beyond what most of us will spend. I'm wondering what SVT has in the works for the new S550.

I think they look an "awful" lot alike

Actually, according to some "leaked" ordering data, the GT350 will replace the GT500 from FORD.......... Shelby no longer makes the GT350. There is a lot of "speculation" about what kind of engine/transmission options it will have. I, among others, are hoping it will have a different "front-end look" then the 2015 Mustang. The price point is obviously a mystery...as it is for the 2015 Mustang.

Im not saying they dont look similar because they do, but the way some talk they act like the 13/14 grill is completely different.

However I still think the mustang grill is mustangish with the changes theyve made. The front isnt the strongest part of the car, but the car overall is great looking. Just like the 10/12 front was great looking but the rear was not.

Interesting. That being the case I would expect a supercharged 5.0 and a price point starting in the mid to high 50's.
