11 August, the factory line cranks to life
9 September, the first cars show up to the dealers.

Really, its just a few weeks away and these boards are going to be afire with S550 content. The S197 Coyote has only has 2 more months of being the king fish.

whoops - guess I was wrong -the new infor says JULY 14 for production

On down the road, the 14 Mustang will be the one to have being the last of that style. IMHO it is the last of the classic Mustang "lookers". This is why I bought the 14. I had originally planned to get a 15, but I just could not warm up to the styling. Although I traded my 2012 for the 14, I still believe that the best styled Mustangs ever were the 2011-2012.

I've spoken with many dealers in waiting for the "right" 14 to show up. They said that the feedback they've received was that folks either love or hate the 15's....nothing in between. The "haters" are gobbling up the 14's and I'm totally happy to be in that particular crowd.

BTW if my 2012 had been a GT, I would NOT have traded.

The S197 will live on for many decades. I've stated before and I'll state again, "The 2015 Mustang could well be the Thunderbird debacle of 2002." Honestly, I don't see the 2015 Mustang holding 100,000 units after the first year. In fact, Fords own projections are showing that they may have missed the mark on this one.....glad I got my 14 GT/CS!

2014 Mustang GT Coupe Premium. I tend to agree. I don't mean to be crude and uncouth hear, but, bottom line, they %[email protected]#&d with a classic design. Being a seemingly love/hate popularity issue, it could swing either way. But I'm guessing it will end up going the wrong way.
