I'm not here to decipher what your intention is, that's not my job. This post belongs here, it got moved here.

I wasn't worried...

Besides I just got home from work and I have the next 96 hours to fill until I go back so I have plenty of time on my hands

I got to put 85 miles on the clock of this beast on Saturday! I also got a driver to drive my car while I shot a few rolling shots of it for my website.

Let me just tell you. I LOVED it. It's more refined than the outgoing model. But it still feels like a Mustang IMO. It's a beast. The interior is gorgeous. Lovely place to be in.

This one is a 5.0 with Performance Package, Brembos, Recaros, etc. The Recaros cause a bit or a blind spot when changing lanes, but the clever little rearview mirror sonars (or whatever magic they are) are pretty useful!

Well, here's the best shot of the day:

Can you elaborate more on how well it handles mid-corner bumps at-speed that made the previous models skip sideways a bit (especially if in stock form)? Pls explain the handling characteristics of the independent rear suspension. Also, where the live rear axle is great for drag racing, how does the IRS handle a good HARD launch? That's the biggest difference in the 2015. The rear (and a minor change to front suspension) , and how it handles different situations.

I personally am curious about how a blown 5.0 with IRS handles those supercharged launches. Whippple and Rousch have the kits.... Wondering how that testing went.

I have a good extensive 4,000 word review coming. I'll be publishing it this week. It's almost done. Just missing some editing and the photos. Unfortunately, even with all the testing and the long-winded review, we didn't do launch testing.

There will be info on handling characteristics though.

OK, great on the 4000 review. They must be confident that it will handle launches since they have ALL GTs (with track apps) get standard line lock. Cool.

2015 Ford Mustang GT gets standard line lock as part of Track Apps - Road & Track

As if the Ford Mustang GT wasn't enough of a tire-shredding menace already, Dave Pericak, the car's chief engineer, has announced in Charlotte that the all-new 2015 edition gets electronic line lock as standard equipment. It'll be part of the Track Apps suite, which already includes features like launch control, an acceleration timer, and an accelerometer.

Test Drove a '15 GT Today....Eh

I have a 2012 Brembo Mustang, which I love.. So my sales buddy invited me to test Drive a 2015 GT today and I have to tell you didnt do much for me.

The straight GT comes with 235's... Really?

The steering was way too light and the clutch was like pushing on a wet noodle. It goes fast straight just like my car does.

The car had way more body roll then my '12 Brembo. The hood seems too wide, but Im sure you get used to that.

The dash is array of modern day switches with a few old time chrome ones thrown in...

My '12 seems alot more bad ass with the GT-500 axle backs on it and firmer steering and man's clutch feel.

Im hoping that the performance pack has a better feel. Perhaps, I'm comparing apples and oranges considering I have a Brembo car, But I was expecting more.

I wasn't ready to buy anyways, but would have considered it if it really excited me... but instead it was just.... Eh...

I was hoping I was gonna like it more.

Anyone else who has a '11-'14 have this experience after driving a '15.?

2015 Mustang GT Performance Package... Stock for now..

I test drove a 15 too. Also have a 12 brembo. Your experience same as mine. The 15 gt felt kinda soft, in a luxury car way. Keeping my car for now. Also not too excited about the way the 15 looks.
