Bama Performance sets record for WORLDS FASTEST NA 2015 Mustang GT!

We're very excited to announce that Bama Performance just took our Black 2015 Performance Pack equipped GT down the track and nailed an 11.2 @ 121mph on their first pass setting a world record for the fastest bolt on 2015 Mustang GT!

As soon as we received our fleet of S550's Bama Performance started tearing into the Coyote as well as our EcoBoost and the proof is in the pudding that Bama is here to dominate the 2015 Mustang!

What's really impressive is that they we're able to do this with stock IRS bushings as well as stock Halfshafts leading us to believe that Ford's IRS is actually pretty stout! Here's some of the mods that were used:

Full Exhaust
JLT Cold Air Intake
Bama 93 Track Tune
Custom Suspension Mods
Mild Weight Reduction
Slicks and Skinnies

Rest assured this isn't the last we're going to be hearing of Bama's efforts on our 2015 Mustang's and I can only anticipate when they'll be in the 10's!

Stay Tuned and for all things Mustang keep it right here at AmericanMuscle!

Skinniest little driver they could find. Probably at least a back seat and maybe a passenger delete.

Absolutely! Lightweight driver side seat (Plus Lightweight driver), no pass side, rear pulled as well. 3,650 with half tank plus the wheel man.

Sweet! I hope you guys offer a nice rear seat delete option for this car. I love the BOSS delete kit with the X bar for the last gen.

You know that's a really great recommendation and I think it's something that we should definitely look into! Let me know if there's anything else off the top of you head you think we should have on site! We rely heavily on the forums to make sure we're carrying the right parts!

Did you guys consider buying an automatic instead of a parts breaking manual. Halfshaft broke on the 4th pass. I don't think that would have happened with the automatic. Plus, the 6A with a Circle D torque converter is faster than a manual anyway.

How much were you spraying on the most recent 10.4 pass at 129 mph.

2014 GT 5.0 Premium (Ordered 2/1/2013, received 3/20/2013) 6A - 401A premium trim - Steeda CAI - (Mike Rousch) SCT Dynojet custom tune - Lethal offroad H-pipe - J&M LCA's - BMR relocation brackets - Circle D 5C converter - DSS aluminum drive shaft - front sway bar delete kit - stock mufflers - and a stock 3:15 gear. Best pass so far - 60 ft. 1.577, 1/4 mile e.t. 11.567, mph 117.22.

To be honest the Automatic in the Ford is pretty frigggin weak (easy to break, not good with torque). I still don't get why in the manual version they left the TR6060 which is, well, almost bullet-proof, only in the Shelbys while in the Dodge Challenger R\T and SRT and Camaro SS it is standard, and instead went for the junky time-bomb MT-82 manual. Btw, ya know, no-one finds plus and minus buttons to be "fun"..manuals were faster with the older auto, and you didn't have silly plus and minus buttons on the shifter, and JUST now they are using paddle shifters, SS always had them, SRT\R\T has since 2011 as well, but even the slap-stick was way more fun since 08 for the Challenger in automatic. I was still stunned when I drove a '13 GT Premium Convertible and felt like I was driving a Ford Focus, seriously, up and downshift buttons on the shifter?

We have an auto as well and we'll be building that one up. Ended up the halfshaft broke but the transmission was fine. Honestly the automatic is going to have the same issue with launching on a sticky tire and breaking the halfshafts. I agree that an auto with a good converter and tune will outshift some great drivers!

We were spraying a 150 shot but have had bottle pressure issues.

Yesterday we went back to the track with E85 and 20 more horsepower and some additional weight savings and did 10.6 naturally aspirated and 10.2 on nitrous, but again had some nitrous issues. We're hoping to fix those and go 9's!

Thanks for your reply. Great results so far. I am sure 9's are right around the corner.

I look forward to reading about your automatic project car. Will the mods be as aggressive as the 6M car? It would be nice if it at least started out more like the mods that the average guy would have. And then get as aggressive as you want after that. Keep up the good work.

Thought I saw a picture of a snapped axle shaft. I think the IRS is going to be junk for the guys who are true track rats. But we'll see. Good work.

Might want to wait and see what SVT does for the GT350. I *could* have upgraded axles.
