Exhaust

Does anyone know if the exhaust setup is the same for the 15 v6 and v8?

Can't say as I know but I don't see why they would be the same. They never have been in the previous 4 years these motors have been out. (Different diameter pipes.) The basic setup should be the same but I wouldn't think the hardware is interchangeable.

If you're asking if it's the same as the 11 - 14. No. totally different.

No, what i meant to ask is the exhaust on the v6 going to be changed the same way as on the 5.0. Does it still have a big resonator and is the catback one big piece on the v6 as well?

Ah, probably. The only things I know for sure on the '15s is that it's no longer over axle and the mufflers are welded on. The pipe needs to be cut off to change them.

Does the 5.0 have a "big" resonator? ('14s are kinda small.) I'm pretty sure they'll keep a resonator. Cars have had those for decades.

If you want a group that is all about the '15s, take a look at the forums at www.mustang6g.com . They seem to know a lot about the new cars.

Thanks i appreciate it. Yeah i know its welded on. Reason i ask is because i have seen an exhaust change on the new 5.0 but not a v6. And i was wondering if it is the same thing or not..
