New 2016 GT loud metallic squeaks at slow speeds?

Hello All,

So I bought a new 5.0 last weekend, absolutely love the car so far looking to get Exhaust put on it soon, but anyways when Im turning or going slow down a side street or parking lot (Possibly all the time, i just can't hear it when im moving faster) but im hearing a loud squeaking sound, like old brakes do when their worn out.

It sounds to be coming from the rear of the car, but i can't be sure.

I have the GT Performance package so the 19 inch PP wheels, and Brembo brakes.

Is this something that will go away as the car gets some miles (Ive put about 500 miles on it this week lol) or should i take it into the dealership? I don't have much free time since I'm active duty, but its kind of embarrassing to have my new $39k squeal like an old POS every time I turn.

Do you hear it when you're cruising at low speeds or low speed applying the brakes? I would jack it up, take the wheels off and check out the brakes, and do some inspection of the suspension. If you don't notice anything obvious I'd take it to the dealer. Longer you wait to take it in they might bull some BS excuse how it's not under warranty cause you didn't bring it in soon enough or something stupid like that.

Makes the noise without the brakes applied. And I live in the barracks on base, so I can't do any car maintenance myself, I didn't know if this would be a simple thing that would go away or not on its own.

I have an appointment this weekend with dealership to fix scratches that were in the driver side rear quaterpanel and bumper ill just bring it up with them while I am there.

Are you on the AFB or the NWS? I work at SPAWAR, but my office is off Aviation Ave, near the AFB. I could swing by and give it a listen...

Gotcha. I'm working from home today, then out on vacation until the 24th. Let me know if you haven't figured it out by then, otherwise, I can take a ride over, and see if I can give it a listen.
