Before I'll open it -anybody worked on the rear window regulator in the convertible?
My passenger side is not closing all the way.
Thank you

Garage
It shouldn't be much different from a coupe regulator. It's usually just an adjustment on the track/slider unit.

We are talking about an S550 convertible, right? If so, go grab a can of WD-40 silicone and spray a ton of it on a clean rag and wipe down all the seals that the quarter window touches and also the seal on the front edge. You should find after doing that the windows will close all the way. You need to do this periodically (some do it every few months) to keep things running smoothly.

I did this before (silicone) and no go.
Anyway, bought the new regulator from dealer and installed-works like a charm!
Change job was kinda painful tho...
