It will be interesting to see what this stang looks like. I can't wait! If its true that this stang will be 400lbs lighter and have a 450 hp 5.0 then I think we are looking at 0-60 times around 4 seconds or faster. Also I see it getting to 30mpg on the highway. For now I'm still very happy with the looks and performance of my 07 GT.

2007 Silver GT, manual
3.55 Gears, Shaftmaster 3.5" aluminum drive shaft, Borla Stingers, Pacesetter ceramic Long Tube Headers, Pacesetter catted H pipe, Steeda UDPs, JLT CAI, MGW short throw shifter and Bama 93 Oct Street tune

2001 Laser Red GT, automatic (293RWHP, 310RWTQ) Gone but not forgotten.

Here is a render done by a guy with some graphic design chops at Mustang6G.com based on the new exposed front end.

Looks pretty good to me.

Here is a comparison of the new front to a '14 Mustang. I honestly don't see a radical difference between these two cars. Certainly there is nothing there that should be causing the purist crowd to freak out.

Current: 2015 Ford Focus SE

The 13/14 front end says "Muscle" while that rendering says... I'm not sure what it says.

Lets remember the Mustang that we now know is an AMERICAN ICON and I would like to see it stay that way.I don"t like the Euro look or the Eco Boost or the IRS that some like, guess we will just have to see the final product to pass full judgement.

Why you are even mentioning that is beyond me.

I missed that.
My wife pointed it out to me the other day, the article, and she was glad I got one of the 11-14 instead of waiting on the 15.

Not a fan of the back end. The front looks a little funny too. I think the lower fog light pockets are way to large.

For better or worse I cant wait to see how it look for real!

11/12 Tail lights on a 15? I don't see that happening.

I'm thinking they aren't going back to the lower black plastic around the bottom of the car either.

Yeah, not sure what they were thinking using the candy cane tail lights for that render.

Garage
I like it but the rear end could use some work. That must be an old render with 11/12 tail lights.
