Cleaning door panel insert

Hi all:

Does anyone know how to properly clean out the scuff in the door panel inserts? I'm having a hard time finding something that is even vaguely effective.

Reviving the door panels on my project car a heat gun worked great. You'll see the plastic re-wet. Don't over heat in one place or you'll lose the plastics print texture.

I've had this issue with this...hate to say it but it's basically coming from us...it's the oils in our hands...lotions on our arms...dry skin...and a big pain in the a$$!


My solution and it's been working great...a can of carper cleaner stuff called 'Spot shot'...I spray on a clean micro fiber towel until it's wet...rub on those ugly white spots and they disappear!!! It's great.
