Mystery dent in right quarter panel

I bought my new Mustang on June 3rd. After hand washing and drying it last night, I noticed a significant dent on the upper edge of the right quarter panel near the rear end. I'm sure it wasn't there until just recently. The unusual part is that it's a dent from the inside outward. It's not possible for that to occur because the subwoofer covers the inside of the entire quarter panel in the area of the dent. Has anyone else experienced this? There is nothing loose behind the subwoofer.

A dent as in.... It's poking out? Maybe upload a picture, I don't see how this is possible if the area is covered? Maybe it's from a long time ago who knows, have you tried working it back in yet? Be careful as you don't want to make it worse...
