Mustang vs Camaro curb weight

Just curious, but any news on the curb weight of the 2016 Camaro? I was just looking at some websites like Edmunds and Car and Driver and seen the Mustang manual GT weighs approximately 3705 and the auto weighs approximately 3728.. It says the Camaro weighs approximately 3908?

The popular word on the 6th gen Camaro is 200lbs down from the 5th gen. Soo right in the neighborhood of 3700, which is right on par with the stang.

Vorshlag weighed a new 5.0 recently. I can't remember where in their million page blog it is, but IIRC the car was in the 3600lb range.

Don't know where all these heavy pig numbers are coming from.

Maybe Ford's weighing it with the driver?

The last numbers I've seen for a MT Performance Pack car is 3800 lbs. And I've seen right around that number a few times. I don't know where others in this thread are getting around 3700 lbs.

2012 GT Premium, Brembo PP, MT82, 3.73s, Blk/Blk. Bama 93R, Koni Yellow Rear Shocks, Hawk Ceramic pads, Luxurious & Plush Floor Mats

My race weight on my Ecoboost with a full tank, and me in the car, and an 80lbs tool box was 3800! 6spd manual!

Ist time out bogged the start
With a 2.27 60ft and still ran 95mph. Made up a lot of ground after the 1/8th mile, which was 76mph! On street tires of course! 14.632et

Gonna go back next month and shoot for 13's The track is 150 miles from me! So fill the tank up.

That's all I expect from my Ecoboost is mid 13's on street tires, until I order some Draglites, and drag radials! I can launch at 9psi of boost if I hold it at 4000rpm, and turn off traction control!
