Angry mustang cutting out

i have a 88 5.0L LX everything was fine till yesterday i was coming to a stop and the car just dies, i wait a couple of min's and it starts and working fine drive around for a bit and the same thing, but when u leave it for about an hour you can go for a long period of time before it happens again, can anyone help me with this problem?

When was the last time a full tune up was done? Air Filter, Plugs, Wires, Fuel Filter?
