This a good OTD price?

Looking at a base 2019 Mustang GT - ruby red with the black appearance package, active exhaust, automatic transmission and the large screen in the console with sync.

It has tan seats which I’m not crazy about and I wanted the digital dash, but considering living with it if I got a great price.

Got them to $41,500 out the door.

I feel it’s a bit steep but wanted to ask here to see if anyone agreed.

Maybe I'm just to old or to cheap but $41,500 is a lot of money to not be exactly what you want.

Even $20k is a lot to spend if it is not what you want. For that reason in the past 40 years of new car purchases the vast majority have been factory orders.

To give you an idea . I purchased a 2018 Mustang GT base, manual. No active exhaust, no digital dash, cloth seats, base everything. Lol. OTD was $32,000. So how much is the extras for you on the car worth? I know active exhaust is extra, automatic is extra, etc..

41K for a car. In 1970 I bought a 3 bedroom house for 55K. If you're earning 220K per year, I guess 41K is OK. Just my 2 cents worth and it's your choice.

Just an FYI - you know you can add the digital dash to a Mustang that didn't originally come with it, right? I see ads on Facebook for it all the time; it's a complete kit that comes with everything you need.

But, it's EXPENSIVE - I can't remember for sure, but it's either $1,500 or $1,800. I also think it states that all parts are Ford OEM parts.

Good info. That's one thing I wish I had. I'll be looking into this.

I just bought a 2019 Mustang GT base for $34683 OTD. I'm quite happy without any options. I play satellite radio through my iPhone. It is a completely different car than the 2013 Mustang GT I traded in. Well worth it, and avoided buying a set of tires.
