2005-07 Mustang V6 or 2005 Mustang GT?

Hey guys,
I'm new to this board and as of a few weeks ago I would have not imagined to even be looking into buying a Mustang.

The title might sound confusing, obviously GT > V6, but hold on! Here is my problem...
I have a budget of tops $7500 (excluding taxes, title, registration, inspection, etc.) and I will be looking into buying a Mustang, but I am completely torn up. I initially wanted to buy a 2004 Mustang GT, but my wife hates the look , so I am looking at anything 2005 or newer. From what I read, everyone always recommends the GT, since the V6 is not very powerful, but I might just be on the verge of being able to afford a 2005 or 2006 GT, but it's going to be tough.

Out of these three scenarios, which one is my best option (Always with Pre-Purchase Inspection):
2005-2007 Mustang V6, ~100k miles, very good condition, $6500
2005/06 Mustang GT, ~150k miles, good condition, $7500
2005/06 Mustang GT, ~50-100k miles, very good condition, but rebuilt title/engine, $7000

I am not hellbent on getting a GT, but I would probably take a V6 to the shop and get gears or something, to make it at least a little more fun. Also, I would use the car for daily driving and commuting 60 miles a day, but the gas is not the problem.

What do you guys think?

Thank you in advance!

I had an '05 V6 convertible I bought with 12k miles and ran it to 190k miles and loved every mile. Since then I've had a supercharged '06 GT and currently have an '09 GT that I installed a supercharger on. The extra power of the GT is really nice, but I drove the V6 all year (in WI) through all weather. Tires and brakes lasted a lot longer, and the insurance was quite a bit cheaper. I recommend you get a V6 and if you fall in love with it you will most likely end up with a GT in a few years.
