What year of car do you have? With all the computer stuff I've been told you have to be really careful to not get water in those areas or risk frying the computer.

Also when you spray off the degreaser are you just using the old thumb at the end of the water hose method or a spray nozzle or pressure?

My car is a 2009 GT. I use a spray bottle for the degreaser. Befofre that I always did it to my 2004 no problems. To dry to I use an air hose which we have at work but you can buy one those compressed air cans at walmart. And I use a pressure washer. Just don't hold it into the alternator and you'll be good !
