Car Cover

Just had some paint work done on a part of my '01 GT and the car is in pretty darn good shape for a 14 year old car. I don't plan to drive the car hardly at all this winter, and unfortunately there is no space in the garage for it. So it will be parked in the driveway and will sit for many weeks in the cold, rain, ice, and snow.

I'm considering buying a car cover. There are some in the $50-$100 range on Amazon that have really good reviews. Has anybody here used one? Pros/cons to using a car cover for say, 4 months or so nonstop?

just make sure its one that can breath. helps keep molds from forming over long time sitting.

First, no cover on a freshly painted car. The second point is car covers make me nervous because they actually can accelerate rusting and molding on your car. I wouldn't recommend something in that price range. California Car Cover makes a good cover but they run around $200.

Try to check out Noah cover. The material is not too thin and not too thick, and it is breathable.

I have always gone to California car cover company for outdoor covers and have parked cars for up to 3 years at a time...the real key IMHO is to keep them out of direct sunlight 9under a car port, etc. and the more to take it off/put it on, the more damage is done to the paint, etc.
