Question High flow MAF?

98 ver cobra, i herd that if you replace your MAF you have to replace your fuel injectors as well, this sound pretty crazy ????????????? is their any truth behind this??

You do not need to replace the fuel injectors if you change a MAF if it is calibrated right.

Now if you get a MAF that is NOT calibrated for your injectors, then you need to buy the same pound injectors that the maf was calibrated for.

what do you think about this article, it claims to add 25 rear wheel hp to a quad cam 4.6 http://www.corral.net/tech/powerplant/dohcmas.htm

First off I think the guy who wrote it is not fully aware of the Cobra motor being he referred to the cobra loving to rev while using 3.73's. Any fool will tell you, that 4.10 is the minimum gear to use if its gonna be N/A.

As for the 700 bucks for 25 rwhp, I think thats BS being a MAf costs 250-300 tops, and pullies cost 175 tops. For 700 bucks I can have up to 40 rwhp by a timing adjuster, pulleys, o/r h pipe, and a MAF.
