1997 Cobra convertible. Good deal?

Hello, I was browsing the craigslist earlier today and i stumbled upon a '97 black cobra convertible for 3k. Is that a pretty good deal? all i have to go off is the ad and pictures, but it looks excellent. I emailed the seller and I'm awaiting a reply.

$3,000? Thats an absolute steal. Most go for $5000-$8000 depending on mods and condition. I'd check the mileage and make sure it doesn't have a rebuilt title. Or maybe it's just a cobra clone lol. Get some pics up if you can and let us know what the ad says if anything useful

lots of scams on Craiglist...even if it's legit you'll spend 10 grand fixing it

Not meaning to jump on your ship here guys but but I'm new on here and having a few thread finding issues ! Looking at a 98 Mustang rag top Cobra, though I don't believe it is a Cobra. It has SVT rims Cobra hood, Cobra nose and cobra rear bumper cover. It has a pony in the grill and a P for the 5th space in the vin...forgot to take the complete vin like a dumb ass, any input?

the 13" rotors, "Cobra" on the airbag, and mostly the 32V engine are the quick things to look for

Never give money for something you can't see in person. Lots of Craigslist scams.
