Hmm we're you winding the motor out to 7k rpms? You should be waaaaay faster than that with all those mods. I have a 96 vert (more weight than a coupe) and ran a 9.15 my first time in the 1/8th last month. All of my mods are in my signature. But I did run like a 9.74 when I missed 3rd gear..

1996 Triple black Cobra-FRPP 4.10s, BBK o/r X, SLP LM1s, Ram HDX clutch, MGW Short Throw, FRPP Adjustable Clutch Cable, Steeda Quadrant & Firewall Adjuster, Mishimoto 3 core, FR500s on Nitto 555s, Eibach Pro-Kit springs

get imrc deletes and a custom tune...you'll be amazed at the difference...I never felt my car was "really fast" even with boost until I got those things out and the car retuned...now it's simply amazing to see what that engine is capable of, it's stupid fast for the street

We need more info from the timeslip, like 60-foot and 1/8 mph.

Well, that car is capable of running deep into the 8s, so it sounds like you got a bad launch. Suspension upgrades and lots of finesse on the throttle and clutch will get that 1/8 mile ET way down.
