Mileage and trip numbers

I have a 98 mustang and the mileage and trip numbers aren't working.

Super common problem with many Fords from this time period.. Bad or striped odometer gears. Often caused by a lack of lube.

There are companies out there that will repair clusters as a "bench" job. I have used United Speedometer and Electrical with good results.

Did you read some of the write ups? A search of youtube will also bring up several "how to do".
