Exclamation Noob question, what communication protocol ECU use 96 mustang?

I have a problem with an SCT tuner, the tuner detects that the ECU protocol is KWP2000 but I know that Mustangs are J1850. Which one is right?

My Mustang:

Mustang 3.8 V6 1996

Thanks a lot
