Question EGR delete on 2006 V6 Mustang without tune. What would happen?

What would happen if i delete my EGR and i don't get it tuned right away other than having the CEL on.?


2000 V6 Atlantic Blue Mustang
Windstar Intake Manifold, AM CAI, Flowmaster Dual exhaust
GT Rims, Energy Suspension Polyurethane sway bar end links

First time at the track (1/8 mile)
10.95 @ 67.3 mph, best time

Nothing really. Your system will adjust to the differences. Why are you deleting it? Don't you guys have emissions?

i have no clue if we do but im doing a windstar manifold swap and its gonna be in the way...i got the delete kit yesterday and figured if nothing would happen to the car without the tune i'd go ahead and get that outa the way.

scratch that i just checked and we dont have emissions testing. so im cool. yea im just deleting it for the windstar and wanted to be sure nothing bad would happen to my car.

one more thing...how the heck do you loosen the connection from the egr tube to the header w/o removing the header?

last time i remember hearing this being talked about... i remember it being said that the egr line is ridiculously hard to get off.. and that it was easier to remove the header and work on it on a bench or something rather than in the car

Sorry to come into this with my own question, but does anyone know where I can get an EGR Delete Kit for a 2006 V6 Mustang. I've looked everywhere or I wouldn't be asking. Thanks
