Supercharger add on

Can anyone tell me if they have put the supercharger from a Thunderbird Super Coupe on a 3.8 V6 Mustang? I have a 1999 Mustang and the supercharger and need information on how to do it if someone knows anyrhing about it.

It can be done on a 99-04 but, it require swapping your slit-port heads with single-port heads. You would be taking one step forward and two steps back.

++++1
its not reallly worth the trouble, you would only see about an extra 17hp at motor compared to our splitports, however it has 315 tq, which is 90 more than ours, if you were going to add the supercharger just go buy a 94-98 V6 and put it on there, save you alot of trouble

BV heads, P&P lower, windstar upper, comp 218/226, 4.2 bottom end, 3k stall, flow 40's, O/R x-pipe, Pacesetter lt's, Xcal2, 65mm tb, CAI, 8.8 w/ 3.73's, MM LCA's
coming soon: blower cam and intercooled M112
dealer for Ortiz Performance; tunes, cams, etc. PM me!

If you get the parts cheap, and know what your doing (free labor) then buy all means go for it.

There is a ton more to it than that. How about changing the pulley setup from 6 rib to 8, injectors, let alone the lower intake, adding a jackshaft, intercooler, etc......

Nothing is "bolt on and go."
