Question K&N Filter Rubber Gasket Damaged

I took out the K&N air filter which is in the stock air intake housing to inspect it and the rubber gasket on the back side is damaged. It needs to be glued back onto the metal lip of the filter. What is the appropriate glue to use for this?

Any glue would work good just don't to much on it.
