They do not work.
All they do is trick the ECU into thinking it is -40* outside so the car will run rich.

Well, it's been months since we've gotten this question.

Garbage, won't add 70 hp, not good for your motor in the long run.......

The only good chip is a performance chip done by reputable mfr's. SCT, etc. will burn a chip for you. We prefer hand-held tuners because you can use them to read codes, and don't have to send the chip back once you do a modification.....

Make it shift differently , make it run better than stock and more. Read Am Muscles site for everything on it.

Will a Windstar engine work in a 94 ?
Also what may need to be replaced to do this and will there be any gain in doing it? Since mine will need a wrist pin eventually I'm thinking of options.

Anyway... a Windstar intake (you only need the intake, not the whole engine) matches split-port heads on 99-04s. Our 94-98s have only single port heads... so you will need to do a split-port swap first, then add the Windstar intake. They are difficult (but not killer) projects, and each will give you decent hp: 40hp from the split-port, and 20(?)hp from the Windstar. Start your own thread if you want more info...
