Unhappy 1984 3.8l v6 camshaft problems.

My poor Mustang has been sitting in my driveway for the past six months.. The camshaft broke, and when I got the engine tore down and the camshaft out, I realized the bearings were pressed into it.
The thing is, is that I don't have the money to take it to a shop to get it fixed. I'm 17, work part time, and go to school.

Any words on this, and possibly an alternative to taking it into a shop, will be appreciated.

Thanks guys.
-Zac

Have you considered a whole salvage yard V6? Try car-part.com for a searchable list of salvage yards.

2003 GT Convertible (sold & missed)
2000 GT coupe (Craigslist project. Fixed. Now my DD). Windsor to Romeo swap.
