How much gap for my spark plugs?

My question here is an odd delima to me, with the new spark plugs I got today it said they should not be gapped to more than .055" but the coil pack I have says I can gap my plugs to .060"-.065", so should I just set them at .055" and be done with it or do you think I should go by what the coil says and see if it will work ok?

The coil pack is designed to put out a higher voltage, so I'd go ahead and gap them around .060 .

It's a shot of a granite tile a guy did for me. He does grave markers for a living and has done up 4 cars for me. The Mustang is a shot coming out of turn 8A at Laguna Seca. Pretty wild since you can get on it real good going downhill till you hit #9 and realize you're in way over your ability :yelpleased:

The extra gap will do nothing.....

Hotter coilpacks are made so you can close the gap to avoid spark blow-out under boosted applications......

Just because you are pushing a higher voltage doesn't mean you are going to get a cleaner burn. Increasing the voltage an increasing the gap negate each other. The more air their is between the electrodes, the more resistance there is and the more voltage that is needed to overcome that resistance.
