evap test won't pass

I was wondering if someone could shed some light on the evap emissions test for a 2001 mustang. My car never shows the evap test ready. I have no codes at all and haven driven the car many miles but will not show the test is ready. frustated so any help would be great. thanks hootie

To pass an EVAP test your fuel system must hold 1psi of pressure for 1 minute. If no lights are on, odds are you have a small leak in a vacuum line or connector. Look into a smoke test to locate that leak.
