2002 Mustang Need answers

I have two problems. I have a evap leake code. fuel cap light is on and i already replaced the cap and its still on. what should i do, what could it be? also, when i crank up my car it makes a ticking noise, very annoying. One mechanic told me that it could be a exaust manifold leake? Because he said mustangs are known to have this problem...geesh. it doesnt sound good at all. what should i replace. one guy said that i should put some lucus in it? I dont know! lol
