Thumbs up whats port and polish?

Whats port and polish? (im new to this stuff) just got a 96 V6 stang 5spd- any suggestions on getting better acceleration? budget around $1200.

Ill be posting some more questions about my new stang. Looking forwerd to hearing your guys suggestions.

rear gears, preferable 3.73's and a Ford Racing T-lok will make the most difference.

Porting and polishing refers to a machine technique that is dome to your intake (upper and lower) manifolds to allow for smoother air flow and more air flow. a P&P can be done on your heads as well, but thats pushing it for a V6.

Doing that all at once will take alot of money but well worth it in the long run.
