Idling Too High

Hello All,

My 2000 V6 Mustang is idling at 1100 rpm when in Park, and 700 rpm when the transmission is in drive.

The 1100 rpm feels and seems high? I recently changed the air and gas filters, but can't imagine that being the source.

Is there and adjustment, or sensor I should suspect?

Your help/advice is greatly appreciated.

for everyones info. I took it to my mechanic and $110 later turned out to be a throttle positioning sensor (TPS).

glad to hear it's fixed!
