I have an 86 3.8 and the low fuel light somes on pretty well whenever it feels like it, even right after i get gas. So im wondering if it is has another function like a check engine or something?

Thanks

Guardian

No, I'd say something is just broke. You did mean a 96 and not an 86, right?

make sure your gas cap is on tight or just buy a new one. If its not on tight enough or leaks, u can get air or a vaccum in your tank and it sets off ur light. Hope that helps.
