alot of time and even more money. Would be cheaper to fix up the 6er.
You would need the engine complete with bell housing and tranny with main wiring harness and ECU with motor mounts and all that happy hooey. Pulling the old engine and installing the new engine, quite some time for pre fitment, and fabrication to install. If you want a V8 it might be your best bet to trade in the 6er for a GT, if you want to go that route.

Since there have been so many people that want to keep their beloved V6 instead of trading up to a V8, I found a site that makes it like a turn key operation for swapping the six for an eight. FINNALY! just wish I could remember the site. Do a Google search and you should be able to find this company offering the easy transition.

Do they tell you you have to swap out the rear-end, and the suspension?

No one ever tells folks that, then they start running into money after it's too late.

It's never as simple as it looks, and people make and lose a ton of money making it look simple.

Woe to him who builds his palace by unrighteousness, his upper rooms by injustice, making his countrymen work for nothing...Does it make you a king to have more and more cedar?Did not your father have food and drink? He did what was right and just,so all went well with him. He defended the cause of the poor and needy, and so all went well...But your eyes and your heart are set only on dishonest gain,on shedding innocent blood and on oppression and extortion.
