I was thinking about getting port and polish... but now i was thinking that i should get a cam first... what do you think i should do... i want the best bang for the buck...also if i get a cam... what one should i get... and what else would have to be changed out with it?

Well, I would save up for both at the same time. Once you tear your car down to port and polish the heads, upper and lower intake, your only a few steps away from getting to the cam, and I know you do not want o tear the car back down twice when you can do it all at once. There are a few Cams out there, just remember the bigger the cam, the less vacuum you will have in your engine system, meaning brakes and other vacuum controlled items will suffer. best bet is to get a vacuum canister with a nice strong cam. I saw a .512/.512 cam for $299 from Super 6 motorsports I think.
Most places charge a core fee for a port and polish, they will send you upper and lower intake or whatever you want to get P&P and when you get them, and replace your OEM ones, you send them back and get your money back, usually $120 a piece is the core charge.
