Where the %&*$ is my PCV Valve

I am doing a tune up on my 98 3.8. Its got a 100,000 miles so i figured plugs wires belts and hoses (if needed) and pcv valve, but i cant find it! Any ideas? Any other suggestions on other things i should do to my mighty stang to make sure it lasts me a long time tocome? Thanks

Make sure you do the timing belt... It should have been done at around 90,000 but if you have not done it make sure you do... if you dont and it breaks, you will cause alot of problems

not to nit pick but we have timing chains

your PCV is located on your valve cover and attached to your intake on the passenger side. the drivers side attaches to the upper intake. PCV is posative crankcase ventilation.

Speaking of the Timing "chain" i am at 93k right now so you suggest i change mine ?? How much for parts? How hard is labor and how much if a shop is needed ?

you don't have to change the chain, unless you have an overhead cam. If you have a 4.0L you may want to do this, but you don't have to do it on the 3.8L.

Pick up a maintenance schedule from the dealership, a Chilton's/Haynes manual, or your owners book.
