Not sure if you have a newer version or something but on 6-46 Chassis Electrical - I show 2 pictures of a 94 box and on the bottom half of the page theres a 95 model. Then on page 6-47. I show a 96-98 model. The diffrences im talking about if you look at the picture i attached at the beginning of this post, Youll notice that the box on the car now is capable of holding:

5 Relays - Instead of 4.
12 Maxi Fuses - Instead of 9.
& on the last row (ATC Fuses)
All diagrams show it can hold 8 fuses total. Yet the box on the car can hold 12 tiny fuses + 4 additional. Im just trying to find out if maybe this doesnt even belong in the car. UNLESS someone else outthere can confirm that the box i show on the picture looks EXACTLY like the one on theyre car. I would really appreciate it because its driving me insane! Thanks for all your help! kscoyote.

Rgds,
Alex

you must have a 1998.5 model.

You're probably going to have to look at a 1999 model.

Or go to a dealership. They could make a copy for you . ..

That's the PATS anti-theft system. It won't start until the issue is resolved.

Did someone swap the engine?

That's generally a dealership-only job.

You "might" be able to find a locksmith who can do it (there were 2 in Kansas City) cheaper, but the computer lockout encryption is pretty hefty.

Iv'e been reading about the PATS it sounds like thats what this car might have. BUT the only diffrence from everyone elses stories is that this car wont do anything when i try to start it. It doesnt even crank or turn over at all. Its kinda like if the car was in drive or reverse and you open your key to start it nothing is going to happen. THe only 2 lights that light up on the odometer is the blinking theft and the abs is solid. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm stumped.

You might try a post in electronics.

Question Pcm / Eec Part Number?

Had a locksmith over and he said my pcm is the problem he took it out of my fenderwell and it looks like it was hit by a garbage truck at 90mph. He wasnt able to communicate with the pcm in order to get into the pats and the pcm starting making this loud weird noise that he had never heard. Pretty much its missing the cover and its all dented up (im assuming car was in a accident or something) Anyway i went to the local wrecking yard to replace it but they said they need a Part# for my model. That they dont want to give me the wrong one. Part# suppose to be on the cover of the pcm but obviously w/ the cover missing no luck there. It is a 98 mustang 3.8 Anyone know where i could get this model / part Number??? THANKS GUYS!!!

Call a ford dealership with your VIN.
