Power Programmer III Worth Weight?

I was just curious to see if anyone has used the Power Programmer III...it claims to increase horsepower and gas mileage...if so, does anyone know where I might be able to get my hands on one without having to pay retail ($300-$400)? Thanks

Depends on what you've already done.

Woe to him who builds his palace by unrighteousness, his upper rooms by injustice, making his countrymen work for nothing...Does it make you a king to have more and more cedar?Did not your father have food and drink? He did what was right and just,so all went well with him. He defended the cause of the poor and needy, and so all went well...But your eyes and your heart are set only on dishonest gain,on shedding innocent blood and on oppression and extortion. Well just FYI I have a 2004 mustang v6 and my mods are CAI, dual exhaust, and max micro tuner. The CAI and exhaust didn't do much at all, but when i put that programmer in i was damn near hanging with my friends 01 stock GT. not jokeing, in my opinion programmers and gears do the best. I got my programmer on ebay there hard to find though. I would check ebay first then invest in a new one it is worth it. pc

none of them will do much at all, until 1) you unplug the computer and get 6 straight runs, so that it learns what to do with the mod, and 2) they're in combination with the other mods. The computer bypasses the 6 starts, and tacks on5-7 hp in a stock engine, but the gains are more dramatic the more mods you have on the car . ..
