change V6 to V8

I have 2000 V6 Mustang. I would like to change the engine i wanna high preformance car. What would you recomanded me to buy. and do i have to change the grear.

To be honest, just sell the V6 and get a V8, there are lots of things that will need to be replaced: computer, harness, transmission, axle, etc... will cost more UNLESS you find a donor car with all the goodies for a low price.

If you do either of them your gonna be putting in alot of money that you could save on gas and insurence... if you want the power a v8 just get it supercharged ! for 4 grand maybee a little more including labor you can push around 330hp with a intercooled S/C. Its just as fast as a Gt and its still a V6 so you still get better gas mileage and save tons on insurence and if three hundred something Hp isnt good enough then just buy a partially older Cobra and go from there . :laughlitt

625 rwhp?! good god, that thing is a beast!

2002 v6 manual, SSM P&P Heads, Comp Cam from SSM, and some other stuff full list in profile.
