A/C Probs

I bought a pretty decent 98 to tool around with. Seem it's only problem is the A/c. It works great but it is stuck blowing thru the windshield vent and floor vent. No matter what I change it to it continues to blow thru these two vent. I am wondering if someone has some experience with this issue.

BTW it's a 98 V-6 at the moment.

Thanks for all the help i can get.

Jay

your gate isn't working. It might need to be hooked up, or the servo may be out . ..

Woe to him who builds his palace by unrighteousness, his upper rooms by injustice, making his countrymen work for nothing...Does it make you a king to have more and more cedar?Did not your father have food and drink? He did what was right and just,so all went well with him. He defended the cause of the poor and needy, and so all went well...But your eyes and your heart are set only on dishonest gain,on shedding innocent blood and on oppression and extortion. Thx for the response, Actually it was a hose running through the firewall that was cracked. Vacum? I dunno But after two hours I finally narrowed it down to that and I replaced it. Seems to work great now. But thank you for your response.

Yep vacumm hose, had that problem on my Ford SD.

Funny bought my son a 97 v6, previous owner said the AC wouldn't blow on max. checked the hoses, all seemed well behind the glove box. Reached under and a plastic grocery bag was blocking the internal intake. Problem fixed. Sometimes the simple things.
