Performance Chips...

I have been looking at different chips for my 1996 mustang...what are some of the pros and cons associated with these mods? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/92-97...42473006QQrdZ1

Those chips can harm your car, and you'll NEVER get 15-20 hp out of them.

If you're going to Chip it, get one from a reputable manufacturer, such as diablosport, SCT, etc .. .

Those chips work like this:

You go stand outside when its 90 degrees out and Ill tell you its 32 and youll think its 32 when its really 90 and your sweating.

It's proabably the one I'll get . . . It's a bit more conservative than, say SCT, but driveability and reliability are higher -which is why just about all the big rodders use 'em.

All the garage guys run the SCT -it's generally on the ragged edge . ..
