Exclamation 05 V6 Engine.

Hello.. My First Time Coming To This Website Site.. ok Down To The Point... I Cross-Threaded My Spark Plug About 5 Months Ago.. And I Took It To The Dealer's And They Said It Would Cost Me $2,000 To Get It Fixed.. By Getting The Part (block) (The Thing U Scerw The Spark Plug Into *What is that called?*)

The Dealer Did a Tempalarty Fix And Put My Spark Plug Back In The Best He Can And Said It Wont Last Long Before It Gives U Some More Trouble. Well That Time Has Come. And I Need SOme Help On What To Do? I Would DO Anything That Dont Cost Me $2,000.

The Dealer Said It Was A Alumna Block (Spelling) What Block Is He Talking About (Name?) Maybe I Can Buy A New One And Have THem Put It In.. That Wont Cost Me 2,000...

Thanks For Hearing Me Out.. Help Thanks

Ask all around and find a reputable auto repair shop... Sound like the dealership is trying to rip you off! The spark plug screws into the head, not the block... I've personally never had to deal with this problem but a quick google popped up this article... you might be able to get it fixed without even removing the head...

depending on what the dealership did for "temporary fix"...

Good luck!
