when i do it i keep my foot on the brake and hit the gas until the tries start to spin and when they start spinning i hold the gas pedal there until the light turns green. I don't know how to get the R's up very high without the tires breaking loose. I need help really fast cuz i'm supposed to race the camaro this afternoon.

You can only go so high before the tires break loose. You want to bring the R's up as high as you can, without the tires spinning while you are still on the break. When you let off the break and mat the gas, the tires will spin some. If you they spin alot you need to "feather" the throttle until the tires bite, then mat it again.

I tried it last night and i launched without my tires spinning but the R's would only get up to about 1500 before the tires would break loose. Doe this sound about right?

yep, that's about right . . . depending on the traction at the surface. -1500-1750

you want a little tire slip to keep the rpms up. 2-3 feet of tire slip will get you the best times.

I don't know if there is a 355 for the 7.5, there is a 3.45.

That should be fine. You'll definitely get a bit of a kick.
